Real Estate: Wilbur has handled real estate transactions involving purchase and/or sale of real estate, real estate development, commercial, industrial and residential leases, loans, mortgages and financing transactions for both borrowers and lenders, Section 1031 like-kind exchanges and other related real estate matters.

Business: Wilbur has handled the business transactions involving acquisitions and sales of businesses, business contracts, the formation and organization of limited liability companies, corporations, limited and general partnerships, business trusts and other business enterprises. He has advised and assisted clients in the development and implementation of succession planning for closely held business and family businesses, including preparation of Buy & Sell Agreements among owners and family members.

Estate Planning: Wilbur has prepared Wills, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts (including ILIT’s, Generation Skipping Trusts, etc.), Powers of Attorney and Advance Health Care Directives, QPRT’s, GRIT’s, GRAT’s, FLIP’s, FLIC’s, SCIN’s, IDGTs, QDOT’s, Charitable Trusts, etc. He has handled modest estates to estates for “high-net worth” individuals, involving more advanced and sophisticated techniques and plans to minimize or avoid transfer cost and death taxes.

Wilbur is currently serving as the legal counsel for the Glendale Association of Realtors, one of the larger local realtor boards in Southern California. He is a licensed Instructor with the California Community Colleges and has prepared course materials for his lectures on real estate, business and estate planning. He has given seminars to professional and business organizations and groups, including the California Continuing Education of the Bar, Glendale Bar Association, Glendale Association of Realtors, CPA societies, estate planning groups and escrow and title companies.
